The Eye Department of a Medical College in Nagpur (NKP SALVE INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES) has agreed to offer us their facility, Physicians, Surgeons and Nurses to organize this program. Underprivileged people in villages who are suffering from vision impairment issues or blindness due to cataract will be brought in the camp first for primary evaluation at the camp and then they will be brought to the medical facility in Nagpur for surgery and needed treatment. They will be then transferred to their home in the villages after the surgery and needed treatments are finalized. The EYE-CAMP program will start on July 12th and end on July 19th.
In addition, 1000 eye glasses will also be donated to those who are in need but unfortunately are unable to afford to have one. Sheema and I will be visiting Nagpur, India to be present most part of the EYE-CAMP program. We are looking forward to this divine opportunity in giving hope and vision back to many needy people who will be treated free of charge under this noble program by our foundation.
